My client is urgently seeking a fluently bi-lingual (Arabic & English) School Principle for an established School based in Dubai, UAE.
Initially the successful applicant will be appointed as a consultant at Group level to analyse and assess the School from an external perspective and begin to formulate best practice implementation, before joining the School as Principle in the beginning of2020.
Ideally the Principle will have worked in western schools previously, but also have strong exposure to top tier Arabic educational establishments, ideally within the GCC, Jordan or Lebanon.
Skills
– A bachelor’s degree in education, with a record of continuing professional development throughout their career
– At least 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role within a large School that uses either a UK, US or similar curriculum.
– A record of driving improvements in teaching and learning
– The analytic and conceptual thinking skills to analyse data to inform decisions and create clear, logical action plans
– The self-confidence to lead change and influence others
– Past experience of School improvement planning and implementation of major change initiatives
– A practical understanding of the School self-evaluation process
