Technical Trainer – Drilling Technology

General Overview:

The EHO Technical Trainer for Drilling Technology is the focal point for supporting Client Training as a product line. They are responsible for the growth and the coordinated support of the Client Training initiative within their territory. They will work to create, coordinate, and deliver training to all departments in support of the company’s objectives.

Education and Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent experience• 5+ years of experience with Oilfield Experience• 3-5 years of teaching experience

Key aspects of the role:

• Deliver outstanding Technical training to Clients and gain training market share based on reviews.• Supporting direct sales activities by providing Client training on Downhole products and services.• Prior Technical Experience and Training Experience in Oil field Technology not limited to Optimization, Digital Oil field, MPD, Downhole technology, Geology, Drill bit design / Applications, Fishing or Coil tubing operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver training designed to improve the knowledge & skills of employees in conjunction with defined competencies.• Deliver training emphasizing features and benefits of Downhole products and services over competitor products and services.• Assist in developing curriculum, agendas, materials, and assessments for training courses.• Assist in development and testing of online and computer based training.• Have a willingness to learn subjects outside core field of expertise and be able to deliver basic training in a variety of subjects when required.• Must work with Training Coordinators on training schedules and coordinating Subject Matter Experts to deliver training on more advanced subjects.• Insure health and safety of employees attending courses at all times.• All other duties as assigned
